Energy Express Enters its Last Week
The Wayne County Energy Express program enters its last week with children. Site teams started June 8. Children started July 2 and met daily at the five sites (Crum, East Lynn, Fort Gay, Ceredo-Kenoa, and Buffalo). Children engaged in reading and hands-on activities (art, drama, writing, etc.) to help reinforce reading skills. Here are a few celebrity readers who visited the sites to read with children, as well as samples of the great artwork completed this summer.
