Youth "Travel" to Egypt in January 2021

The International Travel 4-H Club welcomes any youth with an interest in travel. In January 2021, the club will travel virtually to Egypt to explore this beautiful country. WV 4-H Pen Pal Program

The WV 4-H Program is offering a pen pal program for youth of all ages to make new friends across our great state. Youth who register will be paired up with another youth to begin communicating with - either electronically or via written letter.

Pen Pal Introductory Sessions will be offered February 1, 2022 and February 3, 2022 at 7 p.m. (you need only attend one) to announce pen pals, review guidelines and other pertinent information related to the program.

2021 County 4-H Contests

The Wayne County 4-H Program is releasing information on two state 4-H contests for enrolled 4-H members to participate in this winter. 

County 4-H Poster Contest - the purpose of this program is to increase 4-H members' awareness of the topics and to give 4-H'ers an opportunity for artistic expression. Youth interested in participating in this annual event should visit this website to learn more or contact the Extension Office. The county deadline is Monday March 1, 2020.

4-H Livestock & Horse Program - youth interested in showing in the 2021 Wayne County Fair 4-H Livestock Show or the 2021 Wayne County Fair Open Horse Show, need to register by February 1, 2021. We are working to grow the livestock division of the Wayne County Fair and need youth and supporters for the fair to be a success.
