On October 3, 2019, 4-H members visited the Wayne County Commission who proclaimed in National 4-H Week in Wayne County. 4-H members also extended their many thanks to the County Commission for their continued support of 4-H and Extension programs. 4-H'ers Thank Board of Education
On October 22, 2019, 4-H members and leaders attended the Wayne County Board of Education meeting at Wayne High School and extended their thanks for their continued support of the Wayne County 4-H program. Ambassadors Conduct Community Service Project
The 4-H Ambassadors met on October 22, 2019. Community service is a major focus of the Ambassador group. At this meeting, they decorated cards for the Charter House in Wayne and started work on the My Hands to Larger Service 4-H Project. First Meeting of New 4-H Club in C-K
A new 4-H Club in C-K held its first meeting on October 26 at the C-K Public Library. Led by 4-H volunteers, Autumn Starcher and Michael Patton, the club called "The Wonders 4-H Club" had a short business meeting, hands-on science activities and a health snack as part of their first meeting. The next club meeting will be Saturday November 23 at 10 a.m., at the C-K Library. All interested youth are welcome and encouraged to attend. Whites Creek Critters 4-H Club Elects Officers
The Whites Creek Critters elected officers for the 2019-2020 4-H Year on October 27, 2019, at their monthly meeting. The following 4-H members were elected (l-r): Duke Parsley, Vice President; Brenna Barnett, President; Danielle Adkins, Secretary; Haylee Christian, Treasurer. First Meeting of Fort Gay Viking 4-H Club

Club Elects New Officers
The Sharp Shooters 4-H club on Wayne recently held officer elections. The youth elected to an office include (l-r): Bekah Napier, Treasurer; Ayden Copley, Secretary; Rileigh Copley, Vice President; Andrew Kelley, President. Highlights from the 2019 4-H Chili Cook Off
Many thanks to our cooks (Jon Christian, Keith Harless, and Gene Bell), sponsors and judges at this years 4-H Chili Cook-Off held at the Wayne Fall Festival today. Congratulations to Keith Harless on winning 1st place and People’s Choice and to Gene Bell on winning 2nd place!
First Meeting of Trout's Hill 4-H Club
For the first time in years, the town of Wayne has a 4-H Club. The Trout's Hill 4-H Club held its first meeting on October 4 at the Wayne Methodist Church. Fun, hands-on activities were held.
