The Wayne County Fair was held July 31 - August 4 at Camden Park. Below are a few highlights from the 4-H Livestock Show held August 2, 2018.
Market
Steer and Showmanship Class:
Bekah Napier - 1st place

2nd place in market class.

The Wayne County Cattlemen awarded Ethan Napier a $100 premium for placing 1st in the showmanship class.
Duke
Parsley with his award winning pot belly pig, Wilbur. Duke was awarded a
$175 premium for placing 1st in showmanship provided by Bowling Feeds
& the Wayne County 4-H Leaders.

The Fryer rabbit class: Ashlee Smith - 1st, Chase Smith - 2nd, and Jacob Mitchell - 3rd place.
Senior Rabbit Showmanship: Chase Smith - 1st place (left) and Ashlee Smith - 2nd place.
Bekah Napier's steer was bought by Andy Nelson for $2,900.00
Ethan Napier's market steer was bought for $1,600.00 by Ray Damron.
Ashlee Smith's market rabbit was bought by WV Paving for $375.00
Josie Parsley's market rabbit was bought by WV Paving for $300.00
Duke Parsley's market rabbit was bought by Rich Gannon Construction for $300.00
Chase Smith's market rabbit was bought by WV Paving Inc. for $375.00
Okuno International bought Jonah Mitchell's rabbit for $475.00
Okuno International bought Jacob Mitchell's market rabbit for $450.00
