4-H members from Wayne County who competed in the 2018 WV
Beef Bowl Quiz on Friday November 30. Our county sent 11 youth under the
direction of Coach and WVU Ag & Natural Resource Agent Evan Wilson.

One Junior Team placed 9th out of 20 teams, the second Junior Team placed 17th out 20 teams and our Senior Team made it to the third round of competition. The teams had to answer questions on topics such as nutrition, herd management, showmanship, cattle breeds, and general facts about the beef industry. West Virginia 4-H offers a great variety of youth livestock programs.
