Young Entrepreneurship Competition

High school students are invited to compete in the 2019 Young Entrepreneurship Competition. This contest encourages high school students from West Virginia to use their creativity and business skills to design and develop a business plan and pitch.

Junior Horse & Pony Show

The Junior 4-H/FFA Horse and Pony Show is held annually at the state fair.

Entries must be received prior to the deadline and registered online with the State Fair of West Virginia.

Volunteer Opportunities

County competitive teams thrive with the support of dedicated volunteers serving as coaches, assistant coaches, mentors, and more. There are opportunities for volunteers with an interest in forestry, horticulture, wildlife, horses, livestock, poultry, grasslands, environmental education, and more.  If you're passionate about getting involved, we invite you to connect with your local County Extension Office. They have valuable information on how you can contribute and make a meaningful impact.
