The Wayne County 4-H Club Leaders met virtually on September 15 to discuss the best course of action for the club program this fall. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic and the university requirements for any in-person meetings, we came to an agreement to suspend 4-H Clubs from meeting in-person through December 2020. Also, we will not be holding an in-person 4-H Achievement Night and will instead do a virtual slide show; more information will be forthcoming. In lieu of in-person club meetings, the following optional opportunities will be available this fall:
- County-wide Zoom 4-H Meetings
- 4-H Welcome Kit
- 4-H at Home Activities
- Kindness Rock Garden
- Picture this Wayne County
- Virtual 4-H Project Workshops
Make sure to enroll or re-enroll in 4-H this year using Zsuite! The first 100 youth to enroll by October 19 will receive a 4-H Welcome Kit.
If you have any questions about these opportunities this fall, please contact our office at 304-272-6839.
