The Wayne County 4-H Leaders will be holding their bi-annual cheese fundraiser this fall. There are some notable changes given the pandemic, as per the company we work with, that include the following:
- Cheese will be packaged differently. Prior to the pandemic, it was all hand-cut cheese. It will now be machine cut and packaged.
- Machine cuts will mean the cheese comes in 3.5 lb blocks and wheels will no longer be an option. The price has naturally gone up given each block is now larger averaging $19-$21 per block.
- Roasted peanuts have been replaced with shelled peanuts instead.
The Wayne County 4-H Leaders will retain a 25% commission on all orders. This fundraiser helps support youth scholarships for 4-H state and national events.
Please ensure that all orders arrive to Cathy Smith no later than close of business on September 30.
