Our Virtual Energy Express is off to a great start. The program started on June 11 with training and preparations for the program. The program with children started June 22, where mentors prepared kits to deliver to parents - each kit was filled with activities and books for them to work on at home.
Mentors are also serving at school feeding sites. Overall, there is a great energy and enthusiasm by our Energy Express mentors and site supervisors to bring creative reading programs and art activities into the homes of youth enrolled in this summer program!
