In light of the Coronavirus public health crisis, the Wayne County 4-H program is providing weekly challenges that are fun and educational. Wayne County 4-H'ers are invited to do the 4-H "Upcycle" Challenge. Here are the directions:
- Research the Internet on the following topics: "up-cycling t-shirts" or "up-cycle clothing"
- Make a plan and create an up-cycled wearable item using a piece of cloth from a t-shirt.
- Snap a picture of your finished item and email it to julie.tritz@mail.wvu.edu with the child's name and age by Friday March 27.
4-H'ers who submit a photo will receive a printable certificate and have their name
entered to win a $15 Shop 4-H gift card (
https://shop4-h.org/). Enrolled youth ages 5 - 21 years can participate. Have
fun! We cannot wait to see your entries.
Future challenges will include the 4-H Nature Challenge and the 4-H Food Challenge.
