On April 12, 2019, eight Wayne County 4-H'ers traveled to Weston, WV to compete in the 2019 WV Beef Expo & Stockman's Contest. The youth include (l-r): Autumn Adams, Josie Parsley, Jenna Adkins, Danielle Adkins, Alivia Adkins, Addy Smith, Kamron Christian, and Duke Parsley. They stand with their Coach–Wayne-Cabell Ag Agent–Evan Wilson. The youth were tested in plant identification, meat quality assurance, livestock judging and several other content areas. The Junior Team of Duke, Danielle, Addy and Kamron placed 8th in the state.
