Congratulations to our Junior Forestry Team. On Saturday May 5, they represented
Wayne County for the first time at the State 4-H Forestry Contest! They had to
complete several tests including:
- tree measurements,
- tree disease,
- tree insect identification,
- compass and pacing, and
- a written exam on the forest industry.
The team has met weekly since early March to practice and study for this state contest.
We are very proud of all their hard work and commitment!
