Since the 1950s, Wayne County voters have continuously supported the excess levy,
which is renewed every five years. This levy
does not raise taxes
, but simply continues the rate that has been in place. This levy supports
several organizations in the county, including the WVU Wayne County Extension Office.
Early voting starts April 25 and runs through May 5, 2018. Voting day is May
8, 2018.
