4-H Camps Remain on Schedule for Summer of 2018
With the Wayne County school calendar released on March 16, we want to inform the public that 4-H Camps this summer are going ahead as scheduled. Attendance waivers will be offered for students who want to attend 4-H Camp. Registration will be released in early April. Wayne County Collegiate 4-H'ers Encouraged to Participate in First Ever Conference
The WVU Collegiate 4-H Club will be hosting the first WV State Collegiate 4-H Conference
this spring. WV college age 4-Her’s will be given the chance to come together for
a weekend of service, socialization, and fun. Campers can look forward to seeing
friends and familiar faces and meeting new people from across the state. The conference
will feature a guest speaker, workshops, and a community service activity.
It will be held at Camp Pioneer the weekend of April 20-22. The cost to
attend is $55.00. Register
online soon to reserve your spot! Note: one does not need to be attending a
college or university to attend this conference.
Wayne County Still Seeking AmeriCorps Members for Energy Express Program
Wayne County is hosting five Energy Express sites this summer at Buffalo, C-K, Crum, East Lynn and Fort Gay. We are still seeking mentors and community coordinators. Wayne County Youth Encouraged to Participate in 4-H Project Day
During Wayne County's Spring Break, our office will have a 4-H Project Day where youth can learn about sewing basics through fun and hands-on learning. All youth are welcome to attend. Here are the details:

Time: 9:30 am - 3:30 p.m.
Who can participate: Youth ages 9 and up
Location: Wayne County Extension Office

Energy Express Sites Accepting Child Applications
Applications for the Energy Express sites fill quickly, and selection is based on a variety of criteria. Registration deadline is June 22, 2018. Child applications are also available at each school or at our office in Wayne (27572 East Lynn Road, Wayne, WV 25570).;
