The
Wayne County Regional Qualifier was held locally on January 6. This qualifier
was one of four being held across the state during the month of January. The top
four junior and senior shooters were recognized at this local qualifier. These
individuals stand with Bruce Crockett, Head Coach and include (juniors): Okey Napier,
first; Elie Bailey, second; Ayden Copley, third (featured in photo); and Jacob
Mitchell, fourth.
The top four shooters in the senior division, include (l-r): Brettina Jeffers,
fourth; John Creed, second; and Chase Smith, first (missing Andrew Kelly, third
place). After all four regional qualifiers are held, the 20 top scoring senior
shooters from across the state, will be invited to compete in the State 4-H Air
Rifle Competition on February 11 at WVU.
