From smartwatches and robots to video games and apps – today’s digital world runs on code. At West Virginia University Extension’s 4-H Code Camp, youth from across the state will have the opportunity to learn one of the world’s most in-demand skills through fun, hands-on coding activities.

West Virginia University Extension 4-H’ers across the state will soon get more opportunities to attend 4-H events at WVU Jackson’s Mill through a new scholarship fund honoring a long-time 4-H’er and All Star.

Pests are a pain, so  West Virginia University  Extension is reaching out to growers and gardeners around the state about the dangers of pesticides and how to incorporate safe alternatives — such as barriers, insect traps and introducing predatory insects that feed on pests.
