Two retired West Virginia University Extension professionals, Jeffrey Orndorff and Glenn Snyder Jr., were formally inducted into the National 4-H Hall of Fame in October during a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The honor recognizes their lifetime achievements and contributions to the 4-H program.

The West Virginia University Extension, in partnership with the West Virginia Community Educational Outreach Service (WVCEOS), is offering a series of virtual classes in October as a part of the “Helpful Hands” Leadership and Enrichment Conference. The courses, which will be offered virtually, are free and open to the public.

WVU launches new program giving kids free fruits and vegetables at the store
Beginning July 19, Calhoun County kids will be able to get free fruits and vegetables at six participating stores through a new program by the West Virginia University Extension Service Family Nutrition Program.
