2018 West Virginia Multi-Disciplinary State 4-H Shooting Sports Camp

Wood County Roundup 2018

Wood County Roundup is a public speaking/visual presentation competition for 4-H members at the county level. You can demonstrate how to do something, give a speech, or do a PowerPoint presentation about your 4-H project area or a topic of interest to you! Blue ribbon winners have the opportunity to record their visual presentation to be sent to Morgantown for State Competition and a chance to bring home the GOLD! This year there are two opportunities to present at the county level.

First-year 4-H members and Cloverbuds may sign up to recite the pledge or creed to gain public speaking experience. There will also be an Art competition at the March 6 Roundup and a Cookie Bakeoff at the April 3 Roundup.

Wood County 4-H Club News

Rebels 4-H Club will host an auction at South Parkersburg Baptist Church on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Food goes on sale at 11 a.m. and the Auction starts at 2 p.m. Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Chili, Nachos, Hot Dogs, and Desserts are on the menu! Come out and support the club!

Winter Family Fun Event

If you have cabin fever, come out and join us for the Wood County 4-H Winter Family Fun Event at Skate Country on February 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $1 per person and includes skate rental. Contact Lindsey Shawver for more information.
