1. Still Project exhibit registration will be on Sunday, July 15 from 2 – 6 p.m. only. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Junior Livestock Update for the WV Interstate Fair 2018
Please plan ahead to have your animals to the fairgrounds on time. All animals will be checked in on Sunday, July 15 from 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. except rabbits and poultry. Rabbits will be checked in on Saturday, July 14 from 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. and poultry will be checked in on Saturday, July 14 from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. No exceptions. Contact Sean Cullen at the West Virginia Department of Agriculture at 304-767-4984 with questions. All animals, including horses, must be checked in by 3 p.m.
Wood County Poster Contest Winners 2018
Wood County submitted 28 photos to the State Photo Exhibition Competition and 36, 1st place blue ribbon posters. All posters were judged in Wood County. The top poster for each category in its respective age division were sent to state competition. Congratulations to Mikala Fling for winning a Gold Ribbon! Her poster will be used for statewide promotional purposes, so be on the lookout for Mikala's poster.
