Winter Family Fun Event

If you have cabin fever, come out and join us for the Wood County 4-H Winter Family Fun Event at Skate Country on February 18 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost of the event is $1 per person and includes skate rental. Contact Lindsey Shawver for more information.

Livestock Project Awards 2017

Registration Open for State Weekend Camps

Registration is open for 2018 State Weekend Camps. For questions about county scholarships to these camps, please contact Jodi Smith. When registering for state camps, please select the pay by check option. The Wood County 4-H Leaders' Association will pay the registration fees and bill the campers.

Mandatory Livestock Quality Assurance Trainings

 All 4-H members enrolled in livestock projects by January 1, 2018, and planning to show and sell at the fair, will need to attend one of two Mandatory Livestock Quality Assurance Trainings.

Sunday, January 7, 2 - 4 p.m. at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church Sanctuary (Upstairs)
If canceled due to inclement weather, snow date January 14 at 2 - 4 p.m. same location.

Wood County Teen Leaders Recognized

Wood County 4-H Teen Leaders are eligible for all county level awards at the annual Awards Banquet. However, there are a handful of awards that are reserved specifically for county level Teen Leaders who show outstanding service and leadership during the 4-H year. Teen Leader must turn in their community service logs to be eligible for any awards.
