They shared some of the creative efforts with members of a club, namely a hand-knitted scarf set, a tea wallet and the early stages of a baby quilt. New Projects for CEOS Garden Club
The Wayne County CEOS Garden Club met February 12, 2019 . Members started pine tree seeds from pine cones, made their own Vanilla Extract from vanilla beans, and discussed house plants. The club is always looking for new members. Please call the Wayne County office at 304-272-6839 to learn more.
CEOS Members Teach Others to Crochet
On January 25, 2019, member of the CEOS Quilt & Fiber Club (Nancy Crockett, Donna Ferrell, and Trish Harris) trained residents of Marie’s House today in the art of crocheting. Marie's House is a six month intensive recovery center for women. This effort is part of an initiative to provide meaningful community service opportunities for the residents of Marie's House. CEOS Garden Club Makes Spring Wreaths
The Wayne County CEOS Garden Club made beautiful spring wreaths at their January meeting. The CEOS Garden Club has interesting speakers or hands-on activities. CEOS Partners with Marie's House
We are thrilled that the Wayne County CEOS Quilt & Fiber club will partner with Marie’s House in Wayne to teach women recovering from addiction the wonderful skill of crocheting in the hopes that in turn they will make crocheted items for people in need. Those who were able to attend include (l-r): Heather Humphrey's and Misty Martin from Marie's House and Resa Files, Trish Harris, Nancy Crockett, and Donna Ferrell from CEOS. These beautiful works of art are by Club President Trish Harris! The quilt features
the "Woolly Christmas" pattern and the wall hanging features the "lacy snow"
pattern.

Highlights from Fall Fun Day
The Wayne County Community Educational Outreach Service held its fall fun day on November 16 here at the Extension office.
