The Wayne County CEOS program is excited to host the 2018 CEOS International Student, Line Audrey of Cameron. Counties in the Charleston Area CEOS program will have this opportunity from May 26 - June 12. If you are interested in hosting Line in your community, please contact the Wayne County Extension office at 304-272-6839 before the end of April.

Wayne County CEOS members Encouraged to Participate in the Charleston Area Spring Meeting

The Charleston Area CEOS Spring meeting will be held April 21, 2018 in Lincoln County. The program will focus on the monarch butterfly. The cost is $12 and checks should be made payable to the Hamlin Crafty Ladies. The spring meeting will be held at the Lincoln Primary Care Center's new community building located at 359 Walnut Street in Hamlin. For more information, please contact our office 304-272-6839

Wayne County CEOS Seeks Nominees for the WV Folk Festival

The West Virginia Folk Festival is held every June in Glenville. The Wayne County CEOS program seeks nominees to serve as the Wayne County Belle and represent the county at this annual festival. Nominees must be 70 years of age and be willing to spend June 22 - 24 at the Festival in Glenville. Applications are due May 1, 2018. Each year, the West Virginia Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) program offers several scholarships. Wayne County residents are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. Application deadline is April 1.
