Each year, the West Virginia Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) program offers several scholarships. Wayne County residents are encouraged to apply for these scholarships. Application deadline is April 1.

Nursing Scholarship
This scholarship, worth $500, is available to West Virginia students (sophomores and above) who is a resident of West Virginia and enrolled in a West Virginia college or university offering baccalaureate programs in nursing. Applications may be made to the financial aid office at your university.

Family & Consumer Sciences Scholarship
Three $500 scholarships will be awarded to three students (sophomores or above) meeting the following criteria: a West Virginia resident enrolled in a West Virginia college or university offering baccalaureate programs in family and consumer sciences or related fields. Applications may be made the financial aid office at your university/college.

Gertrude Humphreys Leadership Fund (Scholarship)
In recognition of the outstanding leadership given to a person to the state by Gertrude Humphreys, retired State Home Demonstration Leader, a scholarship of $500 has been established. The fund is available to individuals doing graduate work and may also be used to obtain speakers or instructors in the field of leadership training for WVCEOS Conferences. Specific information may be obtained by the CEOS Executive Committee members, the state office or our office at 304-272-6839.
