West Virginia Agritourism Initiative offers online agritourism course

Join us for the West Virginia Agritourism Initiative 2019 online course!

This course is your one-stop shop to explore agritourism and related opportunities. Participants will complete comprehensive whole farm planning and risk management training; learn about integrating entertainment, education and economics on your farm; explore current travel trends and market opportunities for sustainable agritourism; and take advantage of support through mentoring and community partnerships.

The course is offered April 8 through June 30, and it will be available 24/7 for you to complete at your convenience. Live online sessions also will be available on April 11, April 25, May 9 and May 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT to offer participants additional support and guidance. 

The entire course package is $30 and includes online course materials and a certificate of completion. The course is open to aspiring, new or existing farms and agribusinesses interested in agritourism or related ventures.
