STEM Camp

STEM CAMP WILL NOT BE HELD IN SUMMER 2022

WVU 4-H STEM Camp is held annually in July on WVU main campus.  Campers participate in activities that introduce a wide range of STEM focused fields and careers. Past activities have included: visits to the WVU Planetarium, Science-In-Action on the WVU zip line canopy tour and rock climbing wall, forensic investigations, visits to WVU research labs, as well as experiments and activities that explore chemistry, energy, motion, electricity, magnesium, optics, and nanoscience.

WHO:
Students currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, and 8th, grade (i.e., entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grade for fall) are eligible to attend. Space is limited to 24 NEW participants. Those who attended STEM Camp in the past are not eligible to attend. 

WHERE:
The camp will take place on the WVU Campus in Morgantown, W.Va. Campers will spend the night in an actual WVU residence hall and conduct experiments in WVU labs with real-life scientists and engineers.
