College Scholarship Information for Wood County 4-H Members
Wood County Junior Livestock Exhibitor Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all Wood County 4-H and FFA members who have shown livestock
at the fair in the last five years. Two recipients will be selected annually and
will receive $500 each. Members are welcome to apply each year while enrolled in
4-H or FFA and still in college. Members are only eligible to receive the award
one time and should not re-apply after receiving an award. Winners will be announced
at high school awards assemblies in May 2019. The scholarship application
is due
April 1, 2019.

West Virginia University Scholarships for Wood County 4-H Members
Wood County 4-H Scholarship – This scholarship is open to any active Wood County 4-H member entering their freshman or sophomore year at WVU. Members may apply for this scholarship one or both years. Awards can range in amount depending on the number of applicants and the amount available each year. Applications are due March 31, 2019. Other scholarships through WVU and 4-H are also available and detailed at this link. Members who have received a charting pin are also eligible to apply for WVU Leadership scholarships.

State Fair of West Virginia Scholarships
These scholarships are open to 4-H exhibitors (still or livestock) who have exhibited at the State Fair of West Virginia. Application deadline is January 14, 2019.
