Apple Slaw

Apple slaw is a cool and refreshing side for your next cookout, family dinner or summer lunch. Give it a try!


Before You Cook
  • Take a minute to read through the recipe before you start.

  • Wash your hands at the beginning and throughout the cooking process.
  • Children should ask for permission before using appliances and sharp knives.
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • 1 small red apple diced
  • 2 cup green cabbage shredded
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper diced
Directions
  1. Wash produce. Dice apple and green bell pepper. Shred green cabbage. Chop broccoli florets.
  2. Combine apple and vegetables in medium sized mixing bowl.
  3. Mix yogurt, orange juice and cinnamon together in small bowl.
  4. Pour dressing over lettuce mixture and toss until coated.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!
