Wood County 4-H Day Camp 2021

Something for Everyone

WVU Extension Service and Wood County 4-H Leaders' Association will be hosting a series of day camps this summer at our historic Wood County 4-H Campground in Mineral Wells, WV.


All youth who register for day camps must enroll in our 4-H enrollment system - 4h.zsuite.org and set up an account before accessing the registrations for camps.

Deadline to register is May 21st.

Horse Day Clinic – Saturday, June 5th 

Cost is $25 and includes lunch, camp t-shirt and supplies.

This camp is open to 9-21 year-olds (youth turning 9 by September 30, 2021). Whether you're a horse pro or just interested in learning more about horses, this day camp is for you! Youth will participate in fun, hands-on activities and demonstrations throughout the day!

Older 4-H Day Camp – Tuesday, June 8th – Friday, June 11th

Cost is $50 and includes morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, camp t-shirt, all class supplies, and dinner on 2 camp days.

This camp if for youth 13-21 years old. Join us for 4 days of some traditional 4-H camp activities, like classes, sports and rec, games, competitions and more! We will host a council circle at the end of the week and have a camp party! https://4h.zsuite.org/event-registrations/6669

YAWC – Saturday, June 19th - Cost is $20 and includes lunch, t-shirt, snack and supplies and snack.

This camp is a one-day camp for Cloverbuds and first-year 4-H members to introduce them to the 4-H camping program. Learn, play and have fun with campers ages 5-10 years old!

Younger 4-H Day Camp – Monday, June 28th – Thursday, July 1st

Cost is $50 and includes morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, camp t-shirt, all class supplies, and dinner on 2 camp days.

This camp if for youth 9-12 years old (must turn 9 by September 30, 2021). Join us for 4 days of some traditional 4-H camp activities, like classes, sports and rec, games, competitions and more! We will host a council circle at the end of the week and have a camp party!

All 4-H Day Camps will follow social distancing guidelines and clean and sanitize regularly throughout the day – as of current WVU/CDC guidelines, masks must be worn inside and outside.
