Rachel Meininger
Recruitment Director
Rachel is a native West Virginian, a lifelong 4-H’er and proud WVU alumna. She received her bachelor’s degree in child development from WVU in 2011. Rachel’s been with WVU Extension since 2017. She started with WVU Extension by spearheading 4-H and other Extension youth events and supported 4-H programming throughout the state.
Prior to joining the WVU family, she was the assistant director at KinderCare Learning Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“I love the West Virginia 4-H program and all things WVU. I’m fortunate enough to work for a university that understands the importance of our 4-H program. Helping the youth of West Virginia find their purpose on a WVU campus is a great way to blend both of those passions.”
Rachel currently lives in Arthurdale with her husband and two kids, Merle and Olive.
Rachel is glad to speak with anyone to help them learn more about admissions, recruitment and outreach opportunities with WVU Extension.
