OSHA 7115
Lockout/Tagout Course
Designed to inform employers and employees of best practices in the Control of Hazardous
Energy/Lockout Safety. The goal of the course is to help participants determine
their companies’ lockout/tagout compliance issues based on OSHA’s 1910.147: Control
of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout).
Topics taught in OSHA 7115 include:
- the understanding and application of definitions relating to OSHA’s Control of
Hazardous Energy Standard;
- types of hazardous energy;
- energy isolation options;
- written program requirements; and
- training guidelines.
