AUSTIN SHAWVER MASTER SHOWMAN: HALEIGH KENT
The Austin Shawver Master Showman Contest, named in memory of long-time 4-H member Austin Shawver, was held on Friday at the end of fair week. Participants won grand champion showman in their division: Grace Kelly, Isaac Lent, Haleigh Kent, Layne Lockhart, and Taya Davis. The competition had each member show livestock that they are not familiar with or may have no experience showing. The winner and most knowledgeable and experienced showman gets the title. For the second year in a row, Haleigh Kent won the honor of Master Showman.
