Carmen Fullmer

Program Coordinator - Family & Community Development

Carmen Fullmer is a native of Morgantown, WV, and a lifelong Mountaineer. As an Extension Family and Community Development (FCD) Program Coordinator in Monongalia County, Carmen appreciates working with an amazing team that cares deeply about helping improve the quality of life for individuals and families in our communities. She enjoys providing outreach, developing trainings, sharing information, and creating program resources. Collaborating in the county and the state with other Extension staff, Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) members, and community partners is fun, educational, and rewarding. Ms. Fullmer earned her master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling as well as bachelor's degrees in English and Communication from West Virginia University. She previously worked for the Job Accommodation Network as an accommodation consultant and for the WVU Center for Excellence in Disabilities as an assistive technology specialist and mentor. She also has professional experience in writing and editing. On her own time, Carmen has performed in a range of film, promotion, improv, and stage roles. In addition, she served in editorial and production capacities on freelance projects, public television productions, and documentaries. Carmen loves acting, narrating, editing, reading, and taking pictures; she treasures spending time with family and riding her bicycle on the rail trails of West Virginia and Pennsylvania with friends.
