The CSS-GI Program is a focused professional development program designed to address the diverse safety challenges found across general industry settings. Delivered by the West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension, this program equips participants with the knowledge and skills to identify workplace hazards, implement effective safety strategies, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations applicable to general industry environments.
Developed for safety professionals, supervisors, managers, and anyone responsible for occupational safety, this program emphasizes injury prevention, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, and the development of comprehensive safety programs across various industries.

Courses are available in both in-person and virtual formats to accommodate working professionals and organizational needs.
Virtual attendance for OTIEC courses is limited to those who live or work in OSHA Region III (Philadelphia Region), which includes WV, PA, VA, DE, MD, and DC.
