Hydrogen Sulfide Training
Course Description
This course provides students with knowledge meeting the ANSI 2390.1 – Accepted Practices for Hydrogen Sulfide Training Programs. The course is delivered in 7 modules that equal 4 hours total training. Topics covered include: Physical and Chemical Properties, Sources of H2S, High Risk Areas, Sulfur Dioxide, Routes of Exposure, Symptoms of Exposure, Exposure Limits, Toxicity, Flammable Range, Fatalities, Hierarchy of Controls, Methods of Detection, Control Measures, Selection Criteria, Respiratory Protection Program, Location Safety, Dispersion, Warning Signs, Emergency Drills, Rescue and First Aid. Students in attendance are given a card of completion.
