Community Data Analysis
Informed decision making requires a basic knowledge and awareness of past and
present community conditions. The WVU Extension Service Community Data Analysis program
helps communities and local leaders assemble, generate and understand the data necessary
for informed economic development decisions.
Using secondary data from a breadth of public sources, primary data from surveys and community discussions, in-depth data analysis, and community leaders’ local expertise, we create customized reports that answer your community and economic development questions.
Past programs have set the stage for city-wide comprehensive planning and economic
development planning, informed housing policy, synthesized community input on health
needs, and generated data for grant applications and impact reporting.
Example reports can be provided upon request. For more information, contact our team
