When: July 9-14
Where: Camp Sheppard 4-H Camp, Roane County, WV
Cost: The cost of this year’s camp is $50 for full price and $20 for those who qualify for free or reduced lunch. (Please note that we will require a free/reduced lunch form for all campers who qualify before we can give the discounted price.) Some scholarships are available for those with need.

The early registration deadline is June 23 to ensure your spot at camp. After that date, the registration fee will increase by $5.

Payment (Checks payable to Boone County 4-H Leaders’ Association)

We will have two places where campers can check-in and load the buses on Sunday the 9th. We will have a check-in at Sherman High School at 1:00 pm and at Scott High School at 2:30. (All buses will depart from Scott to arrive at the camp at the same time.)

New this Year: In addition to the buses, we also welcome any campers and parents that wish to drive their child to the camp to go ahead and do so to avoid the long lines at the schools. We will provide directions and will have check-in at the camp beginning at 4:00. In the registration form, please indicate which place you would like to check-in for camp. Campers will return between 3:00 and 4:00 pm on Friday the 14th.

The camp will have a Space theme this year.

NEW THIS YEAR : All campers aged 18-21 must go through a screening, training, and approval process. Campers in that age range MUST register by June 16 to be able to attend camp. (This will allow enough time to complete the entire process.) Campers aged 18 and older will not be able to register after that date. Campers aged 9-17 will still be able to register up until the first day of camp. If your child needs a special accommodation, please note it in the registration form. We will make all reasonable accommodations for your child to be able to participate.

Please understand that this is NOT all that is required before your child can attend camp. Before we go to camp, we will need the following, which are available at the office or from your club leader and will also be mailed to you when you have registered for camp:
