Teen Leaders and Young Adult Members

Any 4-H member turning 13 by September 30, 2019, can join the Wood County 4-H Teen Leaders this year. This group is for teens through age 17 (may turn 18 during the new 4-H year). Any Young Adult member who will turn 19 during the new 4-H year through age 21 should join the Wood County Collegiate 4-H Club (even if you aren't currently enrolled in college).

Both Teen Leaders and Young Adult Members do a wide variety of activities throughout the year. Even if you can't make the meetings, you may be able to come to one of our events. Please consider joining and learning about leadership and service to your club, community, country and world!

Teen Leaders

Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church Youth Building.

The next meeting is November 1, 2018 at 7 p.m.

Please join us - fun activities are planned for the upcoming year! TEEN LEADERS WHO WANT TO APPLY TO WORK CAMP MUST BE ACTIVELY ENROLLED IN TEEN LEADERS AND PARTICIPATE IN AT LEAST THREE ACTIVITIES/EVENTS DURING THE 4-H YEAR. These events can include a combination of club meetings, community service activities, fund-raisers, teen leader activities, and the teen leader project.

(Wood County Young Adults) will meet on Monday, October 29 at 12:15 - 1 p.m., in the WVU Parkersburg Room 1314. This group is for any young adult 4-H member who will turn 19 by September 30, 2019 through age 21.
