Please join us for the 29th annual Lewis County Quilt Retreat! 

NOTE THESE CHANGES:  The remodeled Lodge is open—and beautiful!  There is now an elevator.  The rooms now contain only one king-sized bed; roll-a-ways can be added to only six rooms (see additional cost). These will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

*We will be sharing the facility with the students and faculty of the local middle school, which had severe flood damage in July. For us, this affects classroom space, not lodging or meals. We will avoid the main Mill campus at the same time the students are there. We will use some classrooms on the main campus for weekend classes and some in the WVU Fire Academy Building on the former airstrip. Friday activities before 7 will be at the Fire Academy. We are looking at these changes as a challenge and an adventure—and a much better option than canceling the retreat.

Register by December 15, 2026

Confirmations will be mailed in mid-January. Classes with less than five students at that time may be cancelled. Classes which have reached the maximum of fifteen will be closed when that number is reached. REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER DECEMBER 15 IF THE CLASS IS STILL AVAILABLE.

REGISTRATION MUST STILL BE MAILED AND PAYMENT MADE BY CHECK. We are not set up to receive the registration forms electronically or to accept credit card payments. PRINTED INFORMATION WILL STILL BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO PREFER THAT TO ELECTRONIC ACCESS.

Registration Costs

A registration fee (paid in advance with pre-registration) — 

    • $85 for weekend workshops (12 hours);
    • $15 for mini-sessions (3 hours);
    • $100 for Propensity (the only 15-hour class);
    • Meals and lodging costs (paid in advance with pre-registration);
    • A materials fee, which varies with the workshop (paid directly to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop); and
    • Costs of fabric and supplies to bring with you—list provided with registration confirmation.
