L. Norman Dillon Farm Museum
A farm history museum, which preserves the history and way of life of the farmers who settled in the Eastern Panhandle. The museum houses an extensive collection of antique farm equipment and books, and gives live demonstrations in the blacksmith shop, carpenter shop and sawmill. At our two festivals, held the first weekend in June and the second weekend in October, we also demonstrate field equipment in action, like the threshing machine and the apple cider press. At our festivals, many others bring their vintage equipment to share. There are also craft and food vendors, children’s activities, live music and more!
