Kallie Keyser, 8, is a first year 4-H'er from Pendleton County and is a member of the Upper Tract Producers 4-H Club.
The title of her Visual Presentation for the 2021 State 4-H Presentation Expo is Ready, Set, Show! She chose this presentation topic because she lives with her family on a farm and she loves sheep! She enjoys raising and showing them. Kallie and her sister have been showing sheep at jackpot shows this summer and are having so much fun making memories and meeting new friends! They are also looking forward to going to the fair in August! Kallie encourages her friends, "to get ready, get set, and go show some sheep!!"
Kallie's favorite part about her presentation is the sheep jokes she tells at the beginning to capture the audience's attention and get them interested in her presentation topic. If you like a good lamb joke, then read a few of Kallie's favorites below and watch her presentation to learn all about showing your lamb!
- What kind of car do sheep like to drive? " lamb"orghinis!
- What do you call a bunch of sheep rolling down a hill? a " lamb" slide!
- Where do sheep go on vacation? To the " baaa"hamas!
Kallie said her mom encouraged her to participate in the State 4-H Presentation Expo because it would help her practice speaking in front of people so she doesn't get so nervous. She hopes this experience will make talking in front of people easier.
Kallie's advice on giving a successful presentation is to "practice, practice, practice"! She would like to thank her mom, older sister, and grandma for supporting here in developing her visual presentation this year.
Fun Fact: Kallie's favorite pizza topping is cheese!
