Set Your Child on the Path to Success with Skills for the Future

As a parent, you want your child to grow into a confident, capable adult, but taking risks can feel scary. Our Young Innovators program helps middle and high school students build real-world skills through guided, hands-on experiences.

Whether your child dreams of launching a business, solving local problems or creating something meaningful, Young Innovators offers the tools, mentorship and community connections to help them grow, without needing to leave home.

What Is the Young Innovators Program?

Young Innovators is a leadership and entrepreneurship program for West Virginia students in participating schools that focuses on practical learning, teamwork and community impact. Through local projects, and the annual Mountain State Innovators Summit, your child will:

  • Build confidence and communication skills by sharing their ideas in a supportive setting.

  • Develop leadership abilities while collaborating with peers and mentors.

  • Discover their interests and turn passions into purpose-driven projects.

  • Make an impact locally and strengthen their sense of belonging in West Virginia.

  • Prepare for future success in college, careers and civic life.

Why Parents Choose Young Innovators

We understand that the idea of entrepreneurship can sound uncertain. But the Young Innovators Program combines creativity with structure. Our program teaches students how to think critically, work responsibly and take initiative - skills that benefit them in any path they choose.
