About Dining with Diabetes

Dining with Diabetes - National Extension Working Group.

Dining with Diabetes is a series of classes that run once a week for four consecutive weeks (times vary to provide participants flexible options). A follow-up class will be scheduled three to four months later. Participants are expected to attend all classes. Dining with Diabetes is a free program that is open to individuals with diabetes or pre-diabetes, their family members, and their caregivers.

You will learn up-to-date information on nutrition, meal planning, exercise and how to understand common diabetes-related medical tests. You will also learn how to prepare meals that are healthy, easy to prepare and tasty.

Recipes and handouts will be shared with participants.

When

Virtual classes will be held Wednesdays in April and September, with a follow-up scheduled later.

How to Register

Registration is fast and easy. Computers or mobile devices with internet access are needed to participate. If you have questions or need help registering, please contact your local county Extension office.
