Individuals needing a low-cost blood analysis are encouraged to visit the Doddridge County Health Department on the following dates. The Doddridge County Community Educational Outreach Service (DCCEOS) and the Doddridge County Health Department continue their partnership to provide this service to the community. For the first time in over 25 years, the DCCEOS will not host a countywide health fair, which was a great service to the community and their major annual fundraiser. A steady decline in participation has led to this change.
Also, all of the proceeds from the kitchen sales at the fair supported the Cathy McClain Nursing Scholarship. If community members would like to continue supporting this scholarship for local students, please make checks payable to DCCEOS for disbursement to the scholarship fund. You may drop off contributions at the Extension Office or to a DCCEOS member.
