This is open to any youth enrolled in a 4-H project, regardless of how their 4-H project places at the county level. This is an opportunity for 4-H members to share a behind-the-scenes look at their 4-H project.
WHO
Any 4-H youth enrolled in a 4-H project.
WHAT
Entries should include:

A picture of the 4-H member in action with their 4-H project. Examples include:
- Cooking in the kitchen
- Sewing
- Working with their animals
- Launching a rocket
- ...etc.
- A short audio file (60 seconds or less) of the 4-H member describing their project and what they have learned and liked about it.
- The transcript for the audio file.
DEADLINE
Entries can be submitted from now through Monday, August 3, 2026 at 12:00 pm.
REGISTRATION
Entries will be formatted and printed to hang on the walls in the 4-H exhibit.
Tips and Prompts for Audio
Write down what you want to say.
Things to consider including in your audio clip:
- Your name
- Your county
- Your 4-H project
- Details about your project
- Describe to the viewer what you are doing in the picture
- "My favorite part is..."
- "I like..."
- "I have learned..."
Once you have your transcript, practice reading it aloud several times before you record.
Most mobile devices, tablets, and computers have a recorder that will save a .WAV or .M4A file.
