This is a series of interactive virtual programming designed specifically for teens. Each program will cover a specific topic that teens need to know for success in the real world.

What You Need to Know About Credit and Debt
May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.
In this course, teens will learn:
- Credit Rating – What does it mean and how is it determined? Learn how to manage it and which tools to use.
- Credit cards – Learn about Interest rates, payments, grace periods, how credit cards affect your credit rating, different types of credit cards, points and other benefits.
- Loans – There are many types of loans (education/student, car, mortgage, home equity, personal, pay-day, credit-builder and business), and we’ll walk you through the basics. Additionally, we’ll touch on collateral, revolving versus term loans, fixed rate versus variable interest loans, types of lenders, terms and fees, repayment and default, consolidation, and eliminating debt.
What You Need to Know About Investing
May 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.
In this course, teens will learn:
- Why they might want to invest
- Retirement and how you get there
- The stock market and stock investing
- Bonds, diversification and asset allocation
- Investing in funds
- Strategies for investing
- Online investing and day trading
