Virtual 4-H Cloverbud Special Interest Clubs Coming in April

West Virginia 4-H is excited to launch more virtual 4-H Cloverbud Special Interest (SPIN) clubs in April. These virtual SPIN clubs will meet once a week for six weeks beginning the week of April 12 and ending the week of May 17.

They are open to any interested 4-H Cloverbud and volunteer. 4-H Cloverbuds are youth with birthdates between October 1, 2012 and June 30, 2015. Each club will be $20 to participate. This fee will cover the cost of a club kit of supplies for the kids to engage in hands-on activities at home related to the club topic.

How Do I Sign Up?

Choose a virtual 4-H Cloverbud SPIN club of interest to you, then register online through ZSuite. To register for a virtual 4-H Cloverbud SPIN club go to 4h.zsuite.org and enroll in 4-H with your county. Then select the “event” option to choose the club.

Does your Cloverbud  love to help around the the house? Then this club might be for them! Join us in the kitchen and around your home as your Cloverburd learns about kitchen safety, cooking methods, nutrition, money matters, and sewing.

If your Cloverbud enjoys learning about plants and animals, then this 4-H Cloverbud SPIN club is for them! During this 6 week club, your Cloverbud will learn about what plants need to grow, life on the farm, how to properly care for their pets, and so much more!

Your Cloverbud can learn what they can do to help recycle, and how recycling helps other things that live in the world in this 4-H Cloverbud Club. The club is designed to help your Cloverbud learn about the effects of throwing things away and how, in many cases, discarded items can be re-used as well as recycled.

STEM Lit-to-Go!

  • Age - 4-H Cloverbud with birthdates between October 1, 2012 and June 30, 2015
  • Club Cost - $20
Cloverbuds can develop their STEM and literacy skills in this club as they engage in hands-on STEM activities and read books. Through a variety of engaging topics, including space, sound, and nature, your Cloverbud will explore key STEM concepts, such as the engineering design process and conducting investigations. Each club session will provide your Cloverbud with a hands-on STEM experience and multiple opportunities for them to read, write, speak and listen about their experience.
