Let’s gooooaaattt! Our 4-H agent from Marshall County, Lisa Ingram, and her goats lead us in a reading of “The Grumpy Goat.”
Next, join WVU Extension Service Forest Resources Management Specialist Dave McGill for a walkabout to learn all about the different trees we see in our neighborhoods and communities. Speaking of trees, our buddy John will also read “The Tree” for us.
It’s time to get outside! Shannon Ritchie, an adult nutrition outreach instructor with our Family Nutrition Program, and her son, Van will show us how to walk the plank, hop and run in an obstacle course that you can build at your home!
We’ll wrap today’s episode up with a visit to WVU Extension Service agent Tasha Harris’ hog farm where we’ll learn more about pigs.

Let’s get our hands dirty! Today, Amie Tutor, our Family Nutrition Program youth health educator, you’ll learn about soil and the importance of soil in the growing process. We’ll have a fun activity, read a book and then join Molly Poffenbarger, our health educator, in her kitchen where she’ll help us make a delicious recipe.

Taking time to think about your feelings is important. Full buckets make us happy, while empty buckets make us sad. Join Jennifer Murray, WVU Extension Service Curriculum specialist, and her daughter, Audra, will read “Have You Filled a Bucket Today” and teach you how to help others fill their buckets.
Join our 4-H alums and members Katie, Allison and Maggie will teach us all about balance and show you some activities you can do to find your balance.
Toby Rice, CEO of EQT, and his children lead us in a fun reading of “Go, Dog, Go!” We’ll finish the day with a reading of “Stella Luna” by our Energy Express AmeriCorps member Nicole.

Gone fishing. Today, Jason Fillhart, STEM program coordinator, and WVU Extension Service Wildlife Specialist Sheldon Owen, take us outside to teach us all about fly fishing. Then, it’s turtle time. We’ll learn about eastern box turtles, which you often will find in West Virginia. And, our pal Henry will read us a turtle poem.
