State 4-H Camp Information for Wirt County 4-H

There are four opportunities to attend a state camp in just a few months!  Each of these weekend camps provide a great opportunity for youth who have never been to a state camp to experience what it's like to spend time at Jackson's Mill. These camps also have lower registration fees than week-long summer camps.  

The four weekend camps also are specialized to appeal to the different interests of 4-H campers.  Whether your interseted in computer science, dancing, leadership, or shooting sports, there is a camp for you! 

Wirt County 4-H'ers can Attend National Summit

Have you ever wanted to travel to Washington, D.C.?  Do you have an interest in agri-science?  We have the opportunity for you!  January 9th - 12th, three 4-H'ers will travel to the National 4-H Conference Center located right outside of Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Youth Agri-Science Summit.

At the National Youth Summit on Agri-Science high school students develop the skills and knowledge needed for the challenges facing agriculture, food security, and sustainability. National 4‑H Council and National 4‑H Conference Center have partnered with agricultural scientists, researchers, leaders, politicians, and advocates to host the National Youth Summit on Agri-Science. This Summit emphasizes hands-on educational experiences led by experts in the agricultural community.
