Youth were given this platform to display their exhibits since we did not have a county fair this year.

4-H Writing Exhibition · Extension Exhibits

The purpose of the State 4-H Writing Exhibition is to encourage 4-H members to express their thoughts, feelings, understanding and impressions through written media. Exhibits should compel the observer to feel, think or be inspired by the 4-H member’s interpretation and expression.

4-H Poster Contest · Extension Exhibits

The purpose of the State 4-H Poster Contest is to increase 4-H members' awareness of the topics and to give 4-H'ers an opportunity for artistic expression.  Posters are judged at the county level and only the top poster in each age division of the eight categories can move forward to the state level.

4-H Photo Exhibition · Extension Exhibits

This year, 4-H members across the state entered 1,604 photos in the State 4-H Photo Exhibition.

Jefferson County sent 342 photos to the State Exhibition. Check out these photos submitted by our   4-H members from Jefferson County 4-H. Congratulations on all your hard work and creativity.

The purpose of the State 4-H Photo Exhibition is to encourage 4‑H members to take and exhibit pictures that interpret 4‑H to the exhibit viewers... commu nicate what 4‑H is all about.  Emphasis should be placed on 4‑H activities. 4-H members across the state are invited to submit up to three.

Youths in 4-H learn and practice skills like public speaking.

Jefferson County has two Gold Ribbon Winners, three Blue Ribbon Winners, and one Red Ribbon Winner.   Congratulations to all six for your hard work and creativity. Jefferson County was represented by:
