Overview
When: July 15-17, 2019 from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Where: Camp Barbe 4-H Grounds, 1551 Camp Barbe Road, Elizabeth, WV 26143
Who: Youth who will turn 6 by September 30, 2019 up to age 9. They DO
NOT need to be enrolled in 4-H.
Cost: $40 per child - fees include breakfast, lunch, snack and a t-shirt.
Additional children from the same family may register for $30. Invoices
will be sent to families following the initial registration.
What is Cloverbud Day Camp?
Campers will engage in fun activities focused on healthy living, civic engagement and STEM. The youth will also have the opportunity to participate in daily water activities and outdoor games (weather permitting). They will also have their first experience with mini 4-H tribes and a council circle before parent pick up each day. Youth will be supervised by vetted 4-H volunteers and the Wirt County Extension Agent. Teen counselors will assist in teaching classes and leading activities.

- 3 - 3:45 p.m. - Snack Time and Water Activity

Registration
Registration is due back to the Extension Office by June 21, 2019. We will limit the camp to 36 Cloverbuds based on the order in which the applications are received. After that, we will start a waiting list.
Checks can be made payable to the following organization and mailed to the address below. You will receive an invoice for the amount owed within 10 business days of regi stering for camp.

Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed/postmarked by July 5, 2019. Please send notice of cancellation to P.O. Box 700, Elizabeth, WV 26143. We cannot issue refunds for no shows due to purchasing materials, food, and t-shirts ahead of camp.
Severe Weather Policy
In the event of severe weather (including tornado watches or warnings, thunderstorm warnings, severe lightning or wind, etc.) Cloverbud Day Camp will be canceled for that day. Determinations on cancellations will be made by 7 a.m., each morning and will be sent via email and text if there is a cancellation. Refunds will only be provided if Cloverbud Day Camp is canceled for the entire three-day period due to severe weather.
The text group number will be sent in the pre-camp mailing (around July 1st). This group will receive a text each morning between 6:30 – 7 a.m. to let you know if camp is cancelled for that day.
Teen Counselors
Along with vetted 4-H volunteers, we are asking teens with strong leadership abilities to help as Junior Counselors with Cloverbud Day Camp. Junior Counselors must be at least 14 years old by July 15 and be able to attend a training on Sunday afternoon before camp and attend all three days of Cloverbud Day Camp. To apply to be a Junior Counselor, please complete the application below by May 31, 2019. Teen counselors do not need to pay a fee to attend Cloverbud Day Camp.
